For the second consecutive day CCAA National Bronze Medalist Matt Lemay led the charge for Georgian at the Canadian University/College Championship.
Lemay followed up an opening round 73 with a 71 on Wednesday, placing him at even par and tied for tenth in the field of over a hundred. The Waterloo native sits just four strokes back of second place in a crowded top-ten, and will look to carry the momentum after shooting the second rounds fourth lowest score.
Brady Zordan shot 78 for the second consecutive round, while Denver Dafoe matched that score. The pair is now +12 and +15 on the tournament respectively, and need to continue to improve on their scores to play meaningful golf on Friday.
Along with Jon Collins 80 (+11, T-54) and Daniel Knapp's 86 (+25, T-102), Georgian's combined score now sits at 614 (+38) with matching 307's over the opening two rounds. The Grizzlies Championship comes down to Thursday's round as only the top ten teams qualify for fourth round play. Georgian currently sits twelfth, three strokes back of tenth place Universite de Montreal.
