Four strong performances pace Grizzlies on first day of Nationals
Led by four impressive performances, the Georgian Grizzlies wrapped up Round 1 of the Ping CCAA National Championship Wednesday night.

Led by four impressive performances, the Georgian Grizzlies wrapped up Round 1 of the Ping CCAA National Championship Wednesday night.
A day after being named a CCAA All-Canadian, Emilie Tyndall continued to her impressive freshmen season. The Kirkland native's seven-over 79 places her in a three-way tie for second overall heading into day two. Sady Beelik's round was equally impressive, as her 80 has her tied for fifth. The duo's combined score of 159 put the Women's Team in second place, just four strokes off the pace.
The Men were led by a pair of strong performances from Matt Lemay and Aidan Dunphy. The duo shot matching one-under 71's, good for a share of tenth overall. As a team the Grizzlies sit at 292 through one round, tied for sixth and eight strokes off the pace.
