On the eve of the 2015 CCAA Golf National Championship Grizzlies freshmen star Emilie Tyndall was named an All-Canadian.
Consistent excellence has been the story of Tyndall's year; she earned top-two finishes on seven of a possible eight occasions. The Kirkland native won a total of three titles in Team and Individual competition, including a pair of Gold's at the Niagara Invitational.
Tyndall capped her season by leading the Women's team to a Provincial Championship, the programs fourth. Her rounds of 76 and 73 on the tournament's first two days set the pace and provided Georgian a commanding lead. She also earned a Silver Medal Individually thanks to a three day score of 230.
On top of her excellence on the course, Emilie quickly established herself as a team leader. Her upbeat personality and focus seemed contagious, and will certainly be something the Grizzlies lean on during this week's Championship.
The announcement comes with the National Championship set to kick-off on Wednesday morning at Chilliwack Golf and Country Club in British Columbia.
