Grizzlies Golf headed to Niagara for OCAA Championship

The Georgian Grizzlies Golf Team is headed to Niagara this week for the OCAA Championship at Hunters Pointe Golf Course.

Through three tournaments, the Men's and Women's teams have yet to finish outside of the top three. At last week's Georgian Invitational both Grizzlies teams earned second place finishes. Matt Lemay and Jon Collins finished second and third respectively, with Lemay narrowly losing out on the title in a playoff.

A week earlier at the Niagara Invitational it was the Women's team capturing first; Emilie Tyndall led the way in winning an Individual Gold Medal. Tyndall and Barry Zordan also won second place finishes at Fanshawe to open the year.

The Championship gets started on Monday, with the top three finishers qualifying for Nationals in a few weeks.
