Grizzlies Golf open year with impressive performance, headed to Niagara Invitational today
The Georgian Grizzlies Golf Team opened their season with an impressive performance despite tough conditions at the Fanshawe Invitational.

The Georgian Grizzlies Golf Team opened their season with an impressive performance despite tough conditions at the Fanshawe Invitational.
Both the Men's and Women's Teams left London with second place finishes. The Women finished just one stroke off the pace, led by freshmen Emilie Tyndall's 77, good for second overall. Cory Pond's 82 placed her in a tie for fifth and the pair, along with Sady Beelik and Chloe Wells, will look to carry the momentum into today's Niagara Invitational.
On the Men's side of things, newcomer Brady Zordan's 72 put him in a tie for first through eighteen holes; he finished second in a playoff to wrap up his impressive Grizzlies debut. Aidan Dunphy rounded out Georgian's quartet of top-five finishers with a 73, putting him fourth overall.
The Grizzlies will look to carry the momentum into today's Niagara Invitational, with a pair of team entries on both the Men's and Women's side. Play gets underway at 11:30am, stay tuned to @GeorgianGrizz for updates throughout the day.
