Unfortunately for the Grizzlies, it wasn't their day. Tthe Grizzlies were able to get an early result on the board with a 1-1 draw against the St. Lawrence Vikings to open the tournament.
Georgian then played two of the league's highly touted teams in the Seneca Sting and the Humber Hawks. The Grizzlies battled hard but were unable to get over the hump falling 3-1 to the Sting and 6-1 to the Hawks to close out their tournament.
With a 0-2-1 record the Grizzlies finished out of the top two of their pool and their season came to an end.
The Grizzlies will now shift their focus to a strong off-season. Georgian had a rookie heavy roster and will look to grow on the season that was with many returnees next season.
